SHAH ALAM: The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has set Feb 7 and Feb 8 as the deadline for the submission of annual returns and annual report for companies with the financial year ending June 30, 2015.
The SSM in a statement said the Feb 7 deadline is for those states having Friday and Saturday as the weekend, and Feb 10, if it falls on Saturday and Sunday.
Chinese New Year is on Feb 8-9.
Failure to make both submissions is an offence and if found guilty, action can be taken against the directors and the company under Section 165 and 169 of the Companies Act 1965. — Bernama
