Yap’s granddaughter accompanies the body to the hospital mortuary.
SIBU: A woman who was living alone in Sibu Jaya was found dead by her granddaughter Monday afternoon.
Yap Siew Ping’s body was found in her kitchen by her granddaughter when she arrived at 1pm. The body was bloated and in a decomposed state.
Policemen who arrived shortly believed the 59-year-old woman could have died of sickness.
She was said to be suffering from high blood pressure.
There was no sign of foul play in the house.
The police have taken her body to the hospital mortuary.
