Samsung Galaxy A 2016 series smartphones officially launched in Malaysia: Retailing from RM1299 to RM1899
Samsung Malaysia has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A 2016 series smartphones in Malaysia yesterday.
These three new models of Galaxy A 2016 series are Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) , Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016).
These new models adopts a Galaxy S6 alike design that features glass rear panel with metal frame in the middle.
While the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) feature fingerprint sensor, OIS camera and Samsung Pay magnetic strip card emulation, the Galaxy A3 (2016) on the other hand do not come with any of the new extra features mentioned here.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) is featuring with a 4.7 inch 720p AMOLED display that is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core processor. It is bundled with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera and 2,300 mAh size battery.
The Galaxy A5 2016 sports a 5.2 inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen that’s running on an octa core SoC, packing with a 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage as well as a 2,900 mAh size battery.
On the camera department, it comes with a 13MP f/1.9 rear shooter with Optical Image Stabilization, the front-facing snapper has a 5MP image sensor with f/1.9 aperture.
The Galaxy A7 2016 however is using a 5.5 inch 1080p Super AMOLED display that is also powered by an octa core processor too. It is mated with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 3,300 mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy A7 2016 equipped with the same camera settings as seen on the Galaxy A5 2016.
Connectivity wise, Galaxy A5 2016 and A7 2016 can support 4G LTE Cat. 6, while Galaxy A3 2016 is on 4G LTE Cat. 4. All three models come with dual SIM cards capabilities and run TouchWiz UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop on top.
These three models are available in White, Black, Gold and Rose Gold color choices. Their retail prices are: Galaxy A3 2016 (RRP: RM1,299), Galaxy A5 2016 (RRP: RM1,599), and Galaxy A7 2016 (RRP: RM1,899).
