MARUDI: Achiever House won the SMK Marudi Cross-Country yesterday morning, with some 1,200 students participating in the sports Carnival.

School senior assistant Puan Nurlaila Abdullah flagged off the run from the assembly ground, as the students went around Kampung Pemindahan Marudi and returned through the Chinese cemetery junction to the school. Teachers and prefects hekpt tight security to ensure the students’ safety .

Finishing behind Achiever House (champion on 279 points) were Superior House (259 pts), Challengers House (257 pts) in third spot and fourth, Explorer. The carnival run was divided into eight categories for both girls and boys.
