ENGKILILI: Voters here should translate their support for Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem into their votes in the coming state election.

Engkilili assemblyman Dr Johnical Rayong Ngipa said if they saw Adenan as the right man to become chief minister, then
they should do everything they could in giving him another mandate to lead the state.

“Our chief minister has done a lot for the people but he still needs another five year to implement what he has in store for us.

“Only BN (Barisan Nasional) can bring development to the people, especially in Sarawak. I hope that the people of Engkilili would realise this,” he told reporters after launching the clean water supply and road upgrade infrastructure at Rumah Christopher Ningkan in Skrang here yesterday.

According to Rayong, the infrastructure is just one out of many things that BN has helped to commission for the people, with more coming provided that the local folk would vote for the coalition in the next state election.

Thus, he stressed that by now, the constituents here should not dispute the fact that the United People’s Party (UPP) is a BN component.

“Now is the time for all in the BN family to unite as one as we at UPP will do anything to help whosoever in the BN family. We have no time for trivial matters such as accusing others of not being a part of the BN family.”
