SEREMBAN: A teenage girl was killed after the car she was driving was involved in an accident on Jalan Seremban-Tampin here, early yesterday morning
Preliminary police investigation found the victim Chong Jia Yan, 19, of Seremban Jaya here was killed after sustaining serious head and bodily injuries in the accident at 1.30am.
Police believed the car driven by the victim had gone out of control before hitting a utility pole on the road divider.
One of two witnesses to the accident, who stopped his car to give asistance, was reportedly slightly hurt after his car was rammed from behind by another car.
Jia Yan’s body was sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital, here for a post-mortem.
Negeri Sembilan traffic staff officer ASP Zainuddin Ahmad, when contacted, confirmed the incident. — Bernama
