KUCHING: The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has just rubbished rumours that tomorrow (Feb 9) will be a public holiday.
The widely circulated news about Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem’s alleged announcement that there will be a public holiday tomorrow is untrue.
The CMO also said such ‘news’ was spread with malicious intent.
However, the Chief Minister urged the public to be vigilant and to abide by directives of Operation Room personnel in the event of floods in their areas.
“Should they be required to evacuate, they should do so for their own safety,” a statement from the CMO read.
