SIBU: Police detained a man during a roadblock at Mile 14 Oya Road early yesterday for riding a stolen motorcycle.
The police stopped the motorcyclist for a check and discovered that the motorcycle he was riding was reported missing last November.
Both the motorcyclist and motorcycle were brought to the police station for further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy injured his right hand while playing with firecrackers on Wednesday.
The incident happened at his home in Sibu Jaya.
His family members sent him to the Sibu Hospital around 4pm.
