KUCHING: Those interested to take Accountancy can come visit Kolej Sunway Kuching booth during the Borneo Post International Education Fair (BPIEF) 2016 to know more about accountancy studies.
Kolej Sunway Kuching has achieved wide acclaim as the leading centre for accountancy studies in East Malaysia. The college offers industry-relevant accountancy courses such as the DIA (Diploma in Accounting), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) and Open University Malaysia (OUM) Institute of Professional Development (IPD) Career Certificate in Book-keeping.
All courses conducted at Kolej Sunway Kuching are approved by the Ministry of Education and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
Kolej Sunway Kuching is the first and only tuition provider in East Malaysia and one of nine tuition providers in the whole of Malaysia to be awarded Platinum Approved Learning Partner status by ACCA.
This prestigious accolade is bestowed on tuition providers that meet stringent performance indicators such as pass rates which surpass those of the world, effective management and relevant support services. Since achieving this award in 2010, Sunway Kuching has successfully sustained it for the past five years.
The college has produced more ACCA and CAT graduates than any other institution of higher learning in East Malaysia: 347 ACCA Affiliates and 727 CAT finalists. The college has also nurtured more World and Malaysian prize winners than any other institution in East Malaysia: 8 CAT World Prize Winners and 22 ACCA and CAT Malaysian prize winners.
Kolej Sunway Kuching is also collaborating with various organisations to offer the following scholarships such as Yayasan Sarawak and TERAJU @SARAWAK ACCA Education and Training Scheme, Yayasan Pendidikan Teknikal Rakyat Sarawak (Teras) scholarships, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr Jeffrey Cheah Foundation Entrance Scholarships and Sarawak Energy Scholarship Programme.
BPIEF 2016 is to be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from 10am to 6pm on Feb 27 and 28, featuring at least 80 local and international education institutions with many lucky draw prizes to be won.
