KUCHING: Students of UCSI University Sarawak Campus’s Bachelor Degree in Commerce recently made a study visit to Kuching Port Authority (KPA) at Pending Terminal here.

The group led by their lecturer Bernard Jussem from UCSI University Sarawak’s Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management was received by KPA assistant general manager (Corporate Finance) Robert Lau and senior management staff of KPA.

The visitors were briefed on how KPA operates and later also brought for a tour of Pending Terminal’s operation area.

The trip had enabled the students to see for themselves the general operations of a port and that had also served to enhance the knowledge which they had learned in class about logistics and commerce.
