Uriah See Khai
SIBU: See Hua Daily News is hosting a concert featuring Malaysia’s rising star Uriah See Khai, 21, from Johor at Star Mega Mall this Friday.
Uriah, who holds the championship title in Astro Star Quest 2014, is currently on a concert tour in East Malaysia to promote his EP, a Chinese Song entitled ‘The Only Thing That matters’.
In his one-hour stint with fans, Uriah will sing and have fun sessions with his fans. He will also sign autographs.
Uriah has created a record of sorts in Malaysia’s singing arena, rising to fame like a shooting star.
He was only 19 when he beat 1,000 contestants to emerge the singular winner of the annual Astro Star Quest Chinese Singing Competition 2014 in Bukit Jalil Stadium in August.
He went on to win the World Champion at the TVB International Chinese New Talents Singing Championship in Hong Kong on Nov 30, after beating the best of the best from China and cream of new talents from around the world including those from the USA, Australia, Singapore, Canada and New Zealand.
Spokeswoman for See Hua Daily News told readers they would not be disappointed to meet Uriah in person as the lad who loved badminton and violin was multi-talented.
Collaborating the event with See Hua are Daesim Group, Astro, All Stars, My FM, Tanahmas and Cafe Cafe.
