KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak congratulates national divers, Pandelela Rinong and Leong Mun Yee for winning the bronze medal in the women’s 10m platform synchro in the opening leg of the Diving World Series in Beijing today.
“Congratulations to Pandelela Rinong_Official and Leong Mun Yee for winning the bronze medal in the Beijing Diving World Series! Keep it up and make us proud at #Rio2016,” he wrote in his facebook account, Najib Razak here.
Pandelela, who is partnering Mun Yee for the first time since last July’s World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia, beats Glasgow Commonwealth Games champions, Meaghan Benfeito-Roseline Filion to the podium in the top six final. — BERNAMA
