KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem announced 10 candidates to run in the upcoming state elections at 2.20pm today (Apr 6).

The 10 Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) candidates include Datuk Senator Dr Sim Kui Hian for Batu Kawah, Peter Pau (Padungan), Wilfred Yap (Kota Sentosa), Milton Foo (Pending), Datuk Sebastian Ting (Piasau), Sih Hua Tong (Batu Lintang), Datuk Lee Kim Shin (Senadin), Lo Khere Chiang for Batu Kitang, Chieng Buong Toon for Bukit Assek and Datuk Francis Harden Hollis for Simanggang.

Adenan will announce the Repok candidate when he visits the area tomorrow or the next day.

Meanwhile, SUPP recommended Adam Yii for Pujut and Michael Tiang for Pelawan who were present prior to the press conference but did not stay. They were not named candidates.

No members from UPP had been spotted as of 2pm today.
