KUCHING: State BN chairman Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem has announced the remaining six candidates for PBB and direct candidates for the new seats of Bukit Semuja, Serembu and Mulu.
The PBB candidates include Idris Buang for Muara Tiang, Awla Idris (Simunjan), Mohd Chee Kadir (Kabong), Shafie Ahmad (Daro), Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya (Jemoreng) and Jefferson Jamit Unyat (Bukit Goram).
The direct candidate for Bukit Semunja is John Ilus, Miro Simuh for Serembu and Datuk Gerawat Gala for Mulu; all of whom are new faces.
He also announced that Datuk Ambrose Blikau would continue to defend Katibas and Datuk Wahab Aziz, Kelaka.
Adenan, who is also PBB president, made the announcement at a press conference at Wisma Bapa here today (April 12).
With the announcement, PBB candidate list is now complete, with the party contesting in 40 seats.
Adenan had confirmed the candidacy of the other 32 PBB candidates prior to this press conference.
