KUCHING: The Crocs are determined to play to win when they take on Super League giants Johor Daruk Ta’zim (JDT) at the Larkin Stadium tonight.

This is despite Sarawak entering the match without their marksman Gilmar Jose da Silva Filho as the Brazilian is out injured after the April 9 match against T-team.

Believing that nothing is impossible in football, the Crocs are refusing to be pushovers for the defending Super League champions.

“I believe that a draw against JDT is good enough for the team, but that does not mean that we will aim for a draw tomorrow. Every team plays for a win and that is what we will do against JDT,” head coach Datuk K Rajagobal said yesterday.

Rajagobal is expected to ring in a few changes in the starting line-up raising the possibility of youngsters like Rodney Celvin Akwensivie, Tommy Mawat Bada and Nur Shamie Iszuan Amin seeing action tonight.

“No plan by Sarawak will be revealed for now. All I can say that having the mentality not to lose the match is important for us against teams like JDT,” Rajagobal added.

JDT currently sits in second spot in the league table just a point behind Felda United.

Sarawak is in 10th place with five points from one win, two draws and four losses.

Recently Rajagobal said Sarawak can expect some changes in the team roster during the June mid-season transfer window.

Kick off time for the Sarawak versus JDT match will be 8.30pm.
