KUCHING: Representatives from Edith Cowan University (ECU) and Perth Institute of Business and Technology (PIBT) will meet prospective students and parents at Market Management Services Sdn Bhd (MMS) office here from 3pm to 5pm tomorrow (April 22).

ECU is the second largest university in Western Australia while PIBT is located on Mount Lawley and Joondalup campuses of ECU.

PIBT is the first diploma pathway college based on a university campus to ever exist in Australia. For the past 22 years, it has successfully prepared more than 6,500 graduates for entry into ECU. The institute has built its reputation by delivering quality university pathway courses that ensure a smooth transition into university. Students enrolled in theses courses use ECU’s curriculum, classrooms, library and computing facilities.

PIBT has a wide range of study options available including pre-university level – Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation Programme, fast-track diploma courses in many disciplinary areas and English language courses which are available for long or short-term study.

The pathway diploma can be completed in eight months while the student’s entire degree programme can be completed in 2½ years.
