SIBU: State Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem urged Sarawakian voters to think of him if they disliked the BN candidates fielded in their respective seats in the election.

He said each vote for all 82 BN candidates in Adenan’s Team is also a vote for him.

Based on his popularity rating at 81 per cent, he said he knew many wanted him to continue on as chief minister.

“But if you don’t like the BN candidates, you think of me. For example if you dont like (Dato Sri Wong) Soon Koh, you think of Adenan. If you dont like (Datuk Tiong) Thai King, you think of Adenan.

“Please help them because if they lose I cannot be the chief minister. We are in one team and I cannot score on my own.

“I must have my team to help me. One man cannot do it alone,” he said during a gathering with about 5,000 WTK Holdings Berhad staff held at Sibu Civic Centre here this morning (April 22).

Earlier, he reiterated his call to the people to give him five more years.

He also mentioned the 50 policy decisions he had implemented since taking office as the chief minister.

He later urged the voters to come out in full force to exercise their rights to vote on May 7.

“Vote BN if you think of Adenan Satem,” he said.
