KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had a walkabout and then a dinner at the Boyan-Gersik-Sourabaya (BGK) Waterfront Sunday evening.
Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, Kuching North City Commission (DBKU) Datuk Bandar Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai and Pantai Damai incumbent Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi were among those in the welcoming party.
Najib’s first stop was Mira Cake House where he sampled some of the cakes before making his way to the Boyan Gersik Medan Selera (food court). He went to each stall before sitting down to chow down the local favourites of mee kolok, Sarawak laksa and many more from the various stalls there. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, and PBB members were also there.
The villagers also took the opportunity for selfies with Najib and Hishammudin.
