SERIAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today (Apr 28) announced an allocation of RM2 million for the rebuilding of St Jude’s Church in Bunan Gega.

He explained RM1 million will come from the federal government while the state government will come up with the other RM1 million.

He said this decision came following requests made by the people in the village. Barisan Nasional candidate for Kedup, Martin Ben hails from the village.

He also mentioned that the allocation was made in keeping with the principle of ensuring religious freedom in Malaysia.
