KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem is willing to consider extending both Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali’s stay in Sarawak upon receiving their formal requests.
A press statement issued by Adenan’s office said: “The Chief Minister of Sarawak has received reports that the Menteri Besar of Selangor and the Chief Minister of Penang are requesting that they be allowed to extend their stay in Sarawak during this election.”
The statement added that Adenan had in the past considered to extend the stay of non Sarawakians on a case-by-case basis.
