KUCHING: Local football fans are invited to watch a friendly match between former Sarawak state players and Sadong Jaya veterans to be played at Kampung Semera Lot football field at 4pm on Sunday (May 1).
Veterans from the Ngap Sayot era such as Affandi Jol, Peter Sambang, Irwandi Jampaka, Ali Shapiee, Bobby Pian, Ramos Sari, Ramles Sari and Razak Ismail will be in action.
Other players to watch include Zaidel Sakup, Wong Sai Kong, Daud Hamid, Sulaiuman Mustanir and Hassan Jahid.
Another friendly match between Veterans of Liga Kuching and Semera Youth will take place prior to the main match.
The National Football Development Programme (NFDP) will also be conducting a clinic for students from SK Pendam, SK Iboi, SK Pelandok, SK Jaie, SK Jemukan and SK Haji Kelali Semera.
Another highlight will be an exhibition featuring previous match kits of the state football team.
The event is jointly organised by the N24 Sadong Jaya service centre and Kelab Sukan Komuniti Sadong Jaya.
