Bomba personnel prepare to bring the body ashore.
KUCHING: Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel have recovered a body believed to be one of the passengers of the helicopter which went missing between Betong and Kuching.
The body was found some 15km from the jetty where the Search and Rescue team is stationed along Sungai Batang Lupar.
After being brought ashore, the body was transported to SMK Sebuyau where it will be flown to Sarawak General Hospital for a post-mortem.
Efforts are still underway to locate the helicopter fuselage and the remaining passengers on board.
