KUCHING: State PKR chairman Baru Bian has urged all registered voters to exercise their democratic right to choose their representative in the State Legislative Assembly.

Baru made the call following reports from the party’s observers that there was a low overall turnout of 35 per cent as of noon today (May 7).

“I would also like to remind officers of the Election Commission to carry out their duties impartially and provide fair treatment for workers of all parties,” he said in a press statement.

He also called on members of public who had observed any untoward incidents or fraud to report to Bersih at +6011 31339820 or ROSE volunteers at 016-8604998 (Ann Teo) or 016-2219996 (Suresh).

“To all party workers, thank you for your drive and determination to bring change to Sarawak. Please push on with all you have these final hours to ensure the best results for us,” he added.
