KUCHING: Eleven of 13 direct BN candidates did well in the May 7 polls.
The two who lost were Datuk Janet Lau (Pelawan) and Datuk Hii King Chiong (Pujut). Both lost to DAP candidates.
The other direct BN candidates were Ranum Mina (Opar), Miro Simuh (Serembu), Datuk Dr Jerip Susil (Mabong), John Ilus (Bukit Semuja), Dr Johnical Rayong Ngipa (Engkilili), Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh (Bawang Assan), Tan Sri William Mawan Ikom (Pakan), Datuk Tiong Thai King (Dudong), Rosey Yunus (Bekenu), Paulus Gumbang (Batu Danau) and Datuk Gerawat Jala (Mulu).
Meanwhile, Johnical dedicated his victory to TeamAdenan.
“I could have not done it without the support of the team,” he told The Borneo Post.
