KUCHING: Youth members of Che Hui Khor Moral Uplifting Society, Kuching and Samarahan Division and Sarawak Chai Clan Association are organising a badminton competition for Chinese primary schools at Stapok badminton court on June 25 and 26.
The objectives of the competition are to unearth young talents and promote sports among the young. Badminton World Sports Sdn Bhd is the main sponsor of the event.
The competition is open to pupils and teachers of Chinese primary schools in Kuching and Samarahan divisions. It is open to singles, doubles and teachers’ doubles.
The organisers have also invited teachers from five independent Chinese schools here to join the tournament.
Closing date for submission of entries is June 17 by 5pm.
