SIBU: The inaugural Mr Giant Bodybuilding contest will be held tomorrow at Giant Hypermarket (first floor of concourse) in Ling Kai Cheng Road here, beginning at 2pm.
“A good number of entries has been received,” said hypermarket assistant manager Diana Norsika, adding that entries are still accepted today.
“Forms may be obtained at the first floor of our hypermarket, or from the Sibu Solid Gym,” she said.
Giant has the collaboration of Solid Gym to stage this three-category contest, namely 65kg and below, 65.1kg-70kg, and 70.1kg and above.
Diana said the champion of each category would win RM500, while the first runner-up gets RM300 and the second runner-up, RM200.
The top three winners will also get a medal each. The fourth and fifth winners receive RM50 each.
“There is also a Best Poser Award of RM250 plus a trophy,” Diana told a press conference held at Solid Gym on Thursday evening.
She said the champions of all three categories stand to win RM300 plus a trophy in the Champion of Champions contest. Also present at the press conference were Solid Gym owners Lau Kah Yii and Allen Lee.
