THE MUCH ANTICIPATED Yeo’s Natural Beauty Contest is back with more excitement and greater prizes!
The month-long contest from June 1-30 aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among East Malaysians while providing a recognised platform for women to showcase their beauty in a natural way.
Yeo’s is proud to have The Borneo Post, See Hua Daily News and Utusan Borneo as the joint organising partners for a second time, said Yeo Hiap Seng Trading Sdn Bhd Marketing first vice-president Vincent Chui.
The first edition received an overwhelming response from enthusiastic photographers, both professional and amateur, in a keen contest that brought out the natural beauty of the models with amazing creativity.
“Yeo’s Green Tea is one of the favourite beverages in East Malaysia. It is freshly brewed from premium green tea leaves, which contain no added preservatives and no added colouring. Furthermore, green tea is loaded with anti-oxidant properties to combat free radicals in the body and also help increase the body’s metabolism to aid in weight loss,” remarked Vincent.
The Natural Beauty contest
Participants are required to take a photo of themselves with either a packet, can or bottle of Yeo’s Green Tea to showcase a harmonious combination that befits the essence of ‘natural beauty’.
Top three winners (only applicable to female models) will win cash prizes worth a total of RM6,000, consisting of First Prize (RM3,000), Second Prize (RM2,000) and Third Prize (RM1,000).
Daily prizes of RM100 for 30 winners each (applicable to both the female models and photographers), together with two cartons of Yeo’s Green Tea each, are up for grabs throughout the month of June.
Please pay attention to the following rules, terms and conditions:
1. The contest is running from 1 June 2016 to 30 June 2016, and is open to all photographers and models, both amateur and professional, and must be Sarawakian or Sabahan.
2. Female models must be between 18-30 years of age.
3. Participants can send in as many photographs as they wish before the closing dates.
4. The female models must hold Yeo’s Green Tea of any variant in the most creative possible poses for the entries submitted.
5. The female models must apply only light make-up.
6. The contest requires only upper body shots to highlight their natural beauty.
7. All photographs cannot be touched up by any computer software. They must be in their original form.
8. File sizes for softcopies submitted must not exceed 2MB.
9. All photograph entries must clearly show Yeo’s Green Tea.
10. Entries are accepted in either hardcopy or softcopy format. Please submit your entries to the applicable office addresses or email addresses as shown below. Please take note of the closing dates as well.
11. If you prefer to submit your entries via post, please ensure you write down your personal details (name, age, IC no., telephone no., address) overleaf. Please include the same details for softcopy entries too and remember to tell us why you like Yeo’s Green Tea in less than 20 words on your entries.
12. The organisers’ final decisions are valid in all matters relating to this contest and no appeals will be entertained.
13. Organisers reserve the right to use any of the entries for publicity, promotional or marketing purposes without any prior notice to the participants.
