MIRI: Collectors and lovers of Malaysian craft and handicraft have three more days to shop for authentic crafts at Malaysia Craft Promotion 2016.

The promotion of wearable, functional and decorative art and handicrafts from various states in the country are going on from 10am to 10pm at the Ground Floor West Court (new wing) of Bintang Mega Mall here.

The craft expo themed ‘Buy Malaysian Goods’ features 64 craft entrepreneurs from the state, Sabah and Peninsula.

It is organised by Sarawak branch of Malaysia Handicraft Development Corporation.

Among the handicrafts available are textile craft (batik and songket), jungle products, clay, metals and other crafts.

The expo is an exposure and opportunity for crafts entrepreneur to promote or market their products among locals, tourists and visitors, and a venue for entrepreneurs to network with each other.

Apart from selling and exhibiting art and handicraft, some stalls are conducting demonstrations on making handicrafts such as batik painting.
