KUCHING: THE State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Standing Orders and Selection Committee has nominated Datuk Idris Buang (BN-Muara Tuang) as Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.

DUN Speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar said other members of the PAC were Ranum Mina (BN-Opar), Chiew Chiu Sing (DAP-Tanjung Batu), Alexander Vincent (BN-Ngemah), Aidel Lariwoo (BN-Sadong Jaya), Yussibnosh Balo (BN-Tellian), See Chee How (PKR-Batu Lintang) and Lo Khere Chiang (BN-Batu Kitang).

The DUN House Committee is led by Asfia, and its members are Youth and Sports and Solidarity Minister Dato Sri Michael Manyin Jawong, Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah, Local Government Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, Public Utilities Minister Datuk Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, Assistant Minister of Native Laws and Customs Datuk Dr John Sikie Tayai and Assistant Minister of Rural Economy (Coastal Areas) and Fisheries Datuk Julaihi Narawi.

Asfia, as DUN House Committee chairman, appointed Assistant Minister of Resource Planning Datuk Mohd Naroden Majais as DUN Events Committee chairman.

Members of the DUN Events Committee are Assistant Minister for Rural Economy (Interior Areas) and Plantation Datuk Francis Harden Hollis, Assistant Minister of Solidarity Rosey Yunus, Assistant Minister of Environment Datu Len Talif Salleh, Assistant Minister for Public Utilities (Electricity and Telecommunications) Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Assistant Minister for Early Childhood Education and Family Development Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Assistant Minister for Welfare and Community Wellbeing Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Science Research and Biotechnology) Dr Annuar Rapa’ee, Dato Sri Mohammad Ali Mahmud (BN-Stakan), Abdullah Saidol (BN-Semop), Paulus Palu Gumbang (BN-Batu Danau), Razaili Gapor (BN-Beting Maro), Dennis Ngau (BN-Telang Usan), Mohammad Razi Sitam (BN-Saribas)

Asfia would also be leading the Public Petition Committee, and its members are Assistant Minister of Housing Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Assistant Minister of Public Health Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Assistant Minister of Public Utilities (Water Supply) Datuk Roland Sagah, Assistant Minister for River Transportation and Safety Liwan Lagang, Assistant Minister of Local Government Datu Dr Penguang Manggil and Martin Ben (BN-Kedup).

The DUN Committee of Privileges would also be led by Asfia, and its other members are Deputy Chief Ministers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing and Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg, Second Resource Planning and Environment Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Assistant Minister of Land and Air Transportation and Safety Datuk Lee Kim Shin, Abdul Karim and DUN Deputy Speaker Datuk Gerawat Gala.
