KUCHING: Sarawak Energy will continue to be a corporate sponsor for the Football Association of Sarawak for 2016.

The state utility and energy development company is coming in mid-season to provide additional power and energy for the Sarawak Crocs with a sponsorship package that will see the brand reappear on some of the team’s attire such as training and travelling jerseys, warm-up kits and on the football pitch during home matches.

Sarawak Energy Group chief executive officer Datuk Torstein Dale Sjotveit and Aisah Eden, executive vice president for Corporate Services, received training jerseys with their own names from Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) president Datu Sudarsono Osman earlier this week, to symbolise Sarawak Energy’s support and sponsorship.

Sarawak Energy head of Corporate Communications Peing Tajang and the team, as well as FAS secretary-general Abdullah Julaihi were also present during a simple ceremony at Menara Sarawak Energy held to commemorate the sponsorship.
