Pos Laju launches prepaid dropbox service

KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd yesterday launched the Pos Laju Prepaid Dropbox service which allows customers to drop off their prepaid parcels at self-service automated machines.

In a statement yesterday, Post Malaysia said, currently the service is only available in the Klang Valley and will be expended nationwide by this October.

Group chief executive officer, Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh, said with the new service, the customers could now enjoy a 24/7 convenience in addition to its existing network of 698 post offices, 68 Pos Laju outlets, Pos Laju Ezibox and Pos Laju agents.

“We aim to have 40 units of Pos Laju Dropbox nationwide by this October.

“Currently, Pos Laju has five running units of Pos Laju Dropbox strategically installed in the Klang Valley – Pos Malaysia headquarters; Bangi Pos Laju Outlet; Selayang Tesco Extra post office; Shah Alam’s Seksyen 13 Giant Hypermarket post office; and, Cheras Tesco Extra post office,” he said. — Bernama
