LIMBANG: Skuad Sayang N79 Bukit Kota reached out to two less fortunate families to extend their sympathy for sufferings endured following recent misfortunes.
Led by chairperson Nornni Marlini Abdullah, the group visited road accident victims, Joakim Pangang 44, and wife Mariati Wen at Rumah Imau Jalan Kubong on Wednesday to donate daily necessities such as rice, cooking oil and noodles.
The couple who have 11 children suffered broken legs and shoulders from the accident.
A similar donation was also given to one of the group’s committee members from Kampung Bunga Raya whose father died recently.
Nornni hoped that items donated to the families would alleviate their burden especially during bad times.
