MIRI: Five men and one woman were arrested last night (June 30) and this morning in connection with Bill Kayong’s murder.

According to a press statement from head of state CID SAC Dev Kumar, the six suspects are aged between 22 and 41 years old.

“They have been remanded in police custody for seven days for questioning. The task force is unable to divulge more details at this moment so as not to jeopardise investigations.”

PKR Miri branch secretary and social activist Bill, 43, was shot and killed at a traffic light intersection in broad daylight at the Kuala Baram bypass on June 21.
