KOTA SAMARAHAN: A woman is believed to have killed her two young sons by poisoning them before taking her own life at an unnumbered house here on Tuesday night (July 19).

The 37-year-old mother was found hanging in the living room of the house at Kampung Baru around 7pm by a relative, who then made the gruesome discovery of her two sons, aged four and seven, in a bedroom.

Sources disclosed that an open bottle of bleach was found on the bed next to the two boys, indicating they might have died after being poisoned by their mother.

The motive behind the apparent murder-suicide remains unknown as of now, with initial investigation by police appearing to rule out any foul play.

All three bodies have been sent to the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching for a post mortem.
