KUCHING: Pahang and Kedah were satisfied with a point each after a scoreless draw in the Sukma football competition yesterday.

The first half saw both teams equally matched.

Kedah started the second half with several dangerous attacks before Son Keat Praseat was brought down in the penalty box for penalty kick.

Captain Mohd Irwan Syazmin Wahad however failed to convert the penalty kick after his shot went wide.

Pahang lost their best opportunity to break the stalemate after Muhd Firdaus Abd Razak could not complete a pass with Kedah’s defenders were beaten.

Sarawak will start their 2016 Sukma football campaign against Terengganu at 8.15pm at Stadium Negeri tonight.
