BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam sent a message of condolences to Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany and the people of Germany following the deadly attack in Munich, Germany, Brudirect reported.
In the message, His Majesty expressed that he was deeply shocked to hear of the attack that resulted in the loss of lives. On behalf of His Majesty’s Government and people of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty extended his deepest condolences and sympathies to Angela Merkel and the people of Germany, especially to the bereaved families of the victims of the tragedy.
