KUCHING: Selangor will be advancing to the finals tomorrow against Terengganu after defeating Sarawak in the women’s doubles semi-finals this afternoon (July 28).
Despite giving their all under the scorching hot sun, Belinda Chai and Linda Liong from Sarawak lost 61(10-3) 67(6) to Selangor (Archnaah Rajan and Suhana Sofia) in the 18th Sukma tennis tournament.
Tomorrow (July 29), they will be playing against sisters Sara and Uma Nayar from Terengganu.
Meanwhile, team Sarawak (Alvin Teng and Aslina Chua) won the quarter final mixed doubles this afternoon against Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (WPKL) and will be competing in the semi-finals tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s matches will see semi-finals for mixed doubles while women’s doubles, men’s doubles and also mixed doubles will be playing the finals at the SLTA Tennis Center, Kuching.
