BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: Two groups of flight (kloter) of Hajj Pilgrim Candidates (CJH) of embarkation Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, which departed on August 9 and 10 have been located in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, AntaranewsKalsel reported.
Head of Public Relations of South Kalimantan Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Hidayaturrahman in Banjarmasin on Friday said all CJH of the two kloter already in the holy land of Medina were in a healthy state.
“Although today informed the hot temperature is 40 degrees Celsius, the CJH asked to not less drinking water for a strong deal,” said Daya.
The CJH will settle about nine days in the Medina to do some activities such as attending prayers at Masjid Nabawi, make a pilgrimage the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad and visit Mount Uhud and Masjid al-Qiblatain.
“The Inn of the CJH in Muruj Al Amal region 2 Medina sectors within approximately 200 meters from the Masjid Nabawi, so very close,” he said.
Dayat revealed the first kloter from Banjarbaru, Tanah Laut and Banjarmasin dispatched on August 9, 2016 approximately at 00:20 pm from Syamsuddin Noor Airport arrived at Medina airport around 7:25 pm Saudi time.
While kloter two of North Hulu Sungai and Banjarmasin dispatched on August 10, 2016 at around 1:15 arrived at Medina airport at 08.30 and reportedly did not encounter any significant problems in the process of immigration inspection.
“We also received news of the third kloter of Banjarmasin have arrived at Medina airport at 08.30 WAS (Saudi time), this time were resting in the transit lounge while waiting for transport to Medina,” he said.
Banjarmasin embarkation will fly 14 fleets (kloter) in the pilgrimage in 2016 with 11 kloter derived from South Kalimantan or as many as 3,050 CJH and a three fleet of Central Kalimantan with 1,080 CJH.
