KUCHING: The Yang diPertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday attended a dialogue session at the ongoing Camp United 2016 programme at Kem Bina Negara Sampadi in Lundu.

The camp, which is participated by 75 local and foreign students, aims to enhance the harmony among students currently studying at higher learning institutions in Sarawak.

Among the countries where the students are from include Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Egypt.

The camp is jointly-organised by Yayasan Perpaduan Sarawak (YPS), Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) and the Kuching Youth Groups.

Also present at the dialogue were YPS general manager Datu Aloysius Dris and Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
