SIBU: The KTS team emerged as overall champion in the KTS Sports Carnival here yesterday.
Foodland and See Hua Group came in second and third respectively.
In his speech, KTS Group deputy managing director Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau said physical exercise is necessarily for a work-life balance that is so critical to individual and corporate success.
“These activities such as displayed today can help to create awareness for us to exercise more and to lead a healthier lifestyle,” he said.
“It is one of the platforms that we have evolved to show that we care for ourselves and we are interested in our welfare outside the day-to-day work-life.”
He said staff members would also have the opportunity to build rapport and relationships across departments and companies.
“We bond together, unwind and have fun as a family even as we also remind ourselves of our commitment to health and safety,” he said.
He also noted the presence of staff from Gree Malaysia.
“As you are aware, KTS is distinguishing itself as a premium enterprise in Malaysia. Not only have we expanded over the years, we are defining the market as the leading and preferred brand with our Gree air conditioners range,” he said.
