BATULICIN, South Kalimantan: Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan, Police arrested five alleged perpetrators of rape against minors which accompanied by robbery and murder, AntaranewsKalsel reported.
Tanah Bumbu Police Chief AKBP Kus Subiyantoro through the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Khairul Bechar in Batulicin on Sunday said that two of the five alleged perpetrators became fugitives for several days after the incident.
“Two rape and murder alleged perpetrators had been fugitives were RY and SR, residents of Tanah Bumbu. They were caught in Central Kalimantan on November 24 at 13:00 pm,” he said.
From these two alleged perpetrators, police developing the case by obtaining information that there were three others who participated committing the crime.
The three actors known with initials, YD, RD, DN, residents of Tanah Bumbu, were arrested at their workplace in the Kodeco areas.
The incidence of rape, murder and plunder comitted byfive alleged perpetrators against a victim who was still in high school came from drunkenness or liquor.
From the results of a joint operation by the Tanah Bumbu Police and the South Kalimantan Regional Police, they were arrested and are currently detained for legal proceedings.
“They have been named as suspects. And we charged themwith multi article, murder, rape or protection of minors and deprivation, with a threat of 20 years in prison,” he explained.
