Katai executive director Jong Yean Pin said prices of their products remained the same despite the economic slowdown and unfavourable currency exchange.
“We have more than 10 varieties of Christmas trees available. New and popular designs for this year are the dense and bushy trees with gorgeous colours. There are many sizes with the biggest up to 10 feet in height,” he said.
Katai welcomes customers to visit the store to get inspired and discuss decoration ideas for their trees according to their desired themes.
“We have a great collection of accessories this year for the trees and to deck the halls and walls. More stock is expected to arrive very soon,” Jong said.
Take a peek at their collection of Christmas decor and baubles which come in various colours and finishes including shiny, glazed or painted with designs; wreaths and garlands with the latest designs made of felt material; adorable accessories like stars, butterflies and angels, light-up snowmen, velvet or ribbon bows, pine cones and bells; and festive buntings, hats and stockings.
As for Christmas lighting, the new trend this year is macro LED lights which are brighter and has blink-and-twinkle effects to simulate twinkling stars, Jong shared.
“Alongside multi-coloured options, there are also cream or white lights to bathe a room in soft, elegant warmth. They come in 10-metre length,” he added.
To spread the cheer further, Katai also offers personalised party packs and favours such as masks, hand clappers, whistles, balloons (plain or printed), trumpets, rattles, paper cone hats, mini candy tins, fillable plastic ornaments and many more.
“We also have 30 varieties of wrapping paper,” he said.
