KUCHING: Ops Highway V is currently in progress to ensure that the Pan Borneo Highway Project package ‘Sematan to Sungai Moyan Bridge’, which is 90.1km long, can proceed on schedule.

The aim is to demolish non-residential structures in the vicinity of the project. The work will not involve the demolition of residential structures.

However, house owners in the area who have received compensation or ex-gratia payments are advised to move out and vacate the area as soon as possible to avoid any future complications.

The government appeals for understanding as the Pan Borneo Highway is an important project for the development of the state.
