KOTA KINABALU: The Magistrate’s Court here yesterday fixed March 1 to 3 next year for the trial of a man who was charged with cheating.

When the case came up for case management yesterday, Magistrate Jessica Ombou Kakayun fixed the trial date for Abdillah Nanun, 53, who was charged under Section 420 of the Penal Code.

The indictment provides for a maximum jail sentence of 10 years or a fine with whipping, upon conviction.
