SARIKEI: The newly appointed Manager of Sarikei Civic Centre, Andrew Wong Pak Ung recently made a familiarisation visit to the Public Swimming Pool here.
The pool is under his administration and his visit was to gauge the condition of the pool.
After his inspection Wong said certain matters or areas which needed upgrading or repairs would be referred to the higher authority.
He would also extend a copy of his report to Repok Assemblyman, Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii to keep him informed with the condition of the only public swimming pool in the Division. Among those who accompanied Wong during the inspection were vice chairman of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Sarikei branch, Ling Dien Yong; chairperson of Sarikei District Council, Wong Zee Yeng and SUPP Sarikei branch Youth Section committee members.
