MARUDI: Young members of the Borneo Evangelical Church (SIB) ought to be disciplined and respect their elders.

They should also use the Bible as their guiding light in whatever they do and wherever they are.

This reminder came from Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau when he gave a talk at the Bible Seminar at the SIB church in Long Laput, central Baram last Sunday.

“Respect the elders and others so that they will respect you too,” he emphasised to them.

The Bible Seminar was conducted by Pastor Andy Anyie of SIB on the Rock Church Miri and was attended by 22 pastors from central Baram and about 670 Christians.

Kayan paramount chief, Temenggong Elizabeth Deng, was present.

At the function, Dennis approved MRP grants of RM10,000 for Central Baram SIB Central Committee and another RM10,000 for Long Laput SIB Main Church.
