KUALA LUMPUR: Tanjung Offshore Bhd’s subsidiary ,Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd (TOS), has been selected as one of the umbrella contractor to supply manpower from Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia Ltd with a contract value of RM100 million.
In a statement, Tanjung Offshore said the contract was for two years from Dec 7, 2016 with a one year extension option.
TOS chief executive officer Muhammad Sabri Ab Ghani said the company was constantly tendering for various projects locally and overseas.
“We are optimistic that we will be able to keep replenishing our order book and maintain the group’s growth momentum, moving into 2017,” he added.
On a recent development, Tanjung Offshore said its subsidiary, T7 Aero Sdn Bhd had, on Dec 7 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kilgour Metal Treatments Ltd, a United Kingdom based high-value manufacturing company.
Under the MoU, Tanjung Offshore and Kilgour would explore the building, operation and setup of a metal treatment plant in Malaysia as part of their diversification into high-value manufacturing. — Bernama
