KUCHING: UCSI University Sarawak Campus (UCSI Sarawak) celebrated the accomplishments of its Pre-University Studies (CPU) students with the 2016 Graduation and Awards ceremony held at its very own Learning Haus recently.

Five Foundation Studies students who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.75 and above were presented the Honour Roll Award with special acknowledgement given to Brenda Kucha Ganeng for achieving a GPA of 4.0 and Wung Ming for 3.94 GPA.

Brenda also received the Best Achievement Award for scoring a Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) of 3.93.

USCI Sarawak chief operating officer Mukvinder Kaur Sandhu, in her congratulatory note, said the gathering was a perfect opportunity for students to let their hair down after completing their course with flying colours.

“Congratulations on a job well done! After such a packed schedule full of assignments, projects and examinations, it is good for the soul to take a breath and spend quality time together with course mates and lecturers,” she said.

UCSI Sarawak Foundation Studies Programme in Science and Arts is a perfect first step for students who are keen on furthering their studies in Medicine and Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Architecture, Engineering, Social Sciences, Music, Fashion or Applied Science.

Its January 2017 intake is now open for registration.

Students who are interested to register are reminded to bring along their academic transcripts or result slips for enrolment.
