Aiman Mall is due to open in March 2017.

KUCHING: Aiman Properties Management Sdn Bhd is now launching Aiman 2, following the completion of its Aiman 1 project.

For Aiman 2, there will be 80 units of three-storey shophouses and a wet market with Pasar Tamu. This wet market and Pasar Tamu will be built by the developer and handed over to Samarahan District Council.

The wet market will be the focal point of Aiman 2, as the concept is similar to Sibu wet market and Stutong wet market but on a smaller scale.

Aiman 1, with 124 units of three-storey shophouses, has been completed and sold off. Retail businesses are opening up, among them Unaco Supermarket, Mega Bite coffee shop, pharmacy, Taka Bakery, The Plastic Shop and others.

Meanwhile, the one-and-half-storey Aiman Mall, with an area space of 150,000 square feet, is set to open for business in March 2017.

To-date, the mall is 95 per cent tenanted. The anchor tenants include H&L, GSM, Aika, Empire Furniture, Just Light, After 4 Premiere Food Court and others.

The mall is designed in such a way that there are no secondary corridors and adjacent to the mall is an easement roofing that is linked to the surrounding shophouses, for a different shopping experience at Aiman.

The Aiman projects are strategically located along the main road of Kota Samarahan.

With a catchment population of 300,000, Kota Samarahan is the fastest growing suburb in Kuching area.
