SEMPORNA: Semporna Umno information chief Datuk Ramlee Marhaban yesterday questioned the integrity of Parti Warisan Sabah vice president Junz Wong for frequently making accusations against Umno leaders without evidence.

Ramlee said Junz was allegedly involved in manipulating a young girl in the fake robbery at Suria Sabah Mall in January 2014 and he was suspended for six months from the State Legislative Assembly.

He said this incident showed that Junz is a selfish individual who likes to act recklessly.

“How could he question the credibility and integrity of Umno members while he himself has no integrity, and engages in politics for self interest?

“He also left his former party, DAP which contributed to his succes in the last general election but when he was told to vacate his seat as Likas assemblyman, he refused,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ramlee said the leadership of a country or state should be led by a party whose community leaders have integrity and  committed to developing the country and society.

“Leaders also need to be smart and not making any reckless decisions without investigating the fact as it only shows their stupidity in search for a name in order to get the people’s support.

“Do we want our country to be led by individuals who make reckless decisions without checking? Are we prepared to gamble the fate of our children in the future?” asked Ramlee.

He hoped the people would make a wise decision by choosing the right party with the right leaders who never stop trying to develop the country.

He said people should not be easily influenced by the  oppostion propaganda and assess their services and development brought by Umno for the benefit of the people.

“Umno has proven itself to develop the country and assist the people. Do not make mistakes for the sake of the future generations who will bear the consequences,” he said.

Ramlee said this when met after the Jalinan Mesra Rakyat programme at Mukim Bangau and attended by Senalang assemblyman Datuk Nasir Tun Sakaran.

During the programme, Ramlee also announced the construction of ten temporary houses for fire victims who were left out before.

Ramlee also said that they would cooperate with the district office and the villagers there to beautify the place and will find the best solution for the settlement for the villagers.

He also presented six canopies contributed by Warisan Harta Sabah for the Mukim Bangau, comprising Kampung Bangau-Bangau, Kampung Panji and Kampung Ubian.
